Penny Edwards from Norwich Road Runners put in an impressive performance at the London Marathon on 22nd April, coming in first in her age category. Edwards took part in the Elite Women's race and was the first woman aged over 50 to finish the race, improving her personal best time to finish in 3h10m53s, despite the heat of the day.

This is also a new Club Record in this age category.
