Welcome to the website of Thetford Athletic Club. We are a friendly club, in the heart of beautiful Norfolk, surrounded by forest. We cater for all types of athletes both young and old. We also have a very active and successful junior group.
Thetford Athletic Club was formed in 1978 by Bill McKimm. The Club has grown in recent years and now boasts 40 juniors and 45 seniors. We compete in a wide variety of events including track and field, Sportshall, cross country, and, in more recent times, adventure racing.
We are affiliated to the governing body UK Athletics and England Athletics, Norfolk AAA and South of England AAA.
Our senior men's and ladies group regularly meet and compete in races the length and breadth of the country from a local 5k to the Flora London Marathon. Whatever your ability, from beginners to seasoned marathoners you will be assured of a warm welcome. Have you just been awarded a place at next year's London Marathon? Not sure what to do next?
